Jimmy R. Hicks
Senior Vice President of Engineering and Substation Construction
Mr. Hicks has been Senior Vice President of Engineering and Substation Construction
since September 2008, when Pike acquired Shaw Energy Delivery Services, where he
had served as President and Chief Operating Officer. From 2004-2007, Mr. Hicks
provided electrical engineering consultancy services to the United
States government in Iraq.
From 1972 to 2003, Mr. Hicks was employed by Duke Energy, beginning as an
electrical engineer and progressing through management until retiring as Senior
Vice President of Transmission. Mr. Hicks is a registered Professional Engineer
in North and South Carolina. He received a Bachelor of Science in electrical
engineering from Louisiana State University.
